This tour is a full day guided tour out of Oslo to the Glassworks situated in the Norwegian countryside. We start this tour with a scenic drive to Hadeland, making a short stop at the Queens View to admire the below area of Ringerike with fjords, farms and forests. Hadeland Glassverk is beautifully situated just an hour north of Oslo, in idyllic surroundings on the south bank of Lake Randsfjord. The glassworks was founded in 1762 and is the oldest industrial company in Norway. Here glass is still blown using traditional methods and there is an extensive production of wine glasses as well as special designer goods and decorative projects. Watch the glassblowers practicing their traditional art, and try your hand at glassblowing or glass designing.
